Google announces launch of it’s latest feature for Google My Business: the ability to share video posts.

Google has launched a new Google Posts feature that supports the ability to upload videos, in addition to photos, in your Google Posts. Google Posts has only allowed for the sharing of photos thus far, however it’s now been adapted to incorporate video files, too.

Google Posts is a feature that allows people and businesses to create content directly on Google which appears highly ranked in SERPs for both names and brands respectively.

This new feature is available within the Google My Business interface which you can see below:

However, if you’re going to start taking advantage of this new feature, you’ll need to ensure that your video adheres to the guidelines stipulated by Google:

  • Video Duration: Up to 30 seconds long
  • File size: Up to 100 MB
  • Resolution: 720p or higher
