The usage of smartphones and tablets has increased dramatically, and has actually overtaken the amount of people that search on a desktop this year. 56% of all internet traffic is now via a smartphone or tablet! Responsive websites make it user friendly to browse, book, purchase and more, whether you’re using your thumbs or a mouse and keyboard. From a statistics perspective, making a website responsive will help to lower your current bounce rate.

Recently Google stated that having a responsive website can help with your Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) strategy due to it creating an overall better User Experience (UX). The easier your website is to use, the more chance you have that the customer will want to use the services you are providing or purchase/book online. It is now confirmed that responsive/mobile-friendly is a ranking factor and will influence your natural search rankings. It’ll also help if you’re running an AdWords or Social Media advertising account.
